Helping You Feel Better

Building Relationships

Communication is key. I need to know what you're feeling, experiencing and what you're looking to gain in order to best help you. In turn, I will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.

Helping You Feel Better

Massage is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, illness or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. I would be honored to take that journey with you.

TREATMENTS

Watsu

Watsu is a form of aquatic bodywork used for deep relaxation, unwinding and passive aquatic therapy. Watsu is characterized by one-on-one sessions in which a practitioner gently cradles, moves, stretches, and massages a receiver in water. The work is slow and rhythmic and deeply nurturing. Available in Clarkdale at private therapy pool.

Swedish

The goal of Swedish Massage,  melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, moves fluid retention, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.

LaStone Therapy

Through the use of deep penetrating, heated stones, with chilled stones to bring about a chemical release within the body's systems.  Cool Stones, interrupt  the pain spasm sequence, reducing swelling and inflammation.  Massage is often paired with Swedish Massage. Stones are heated and used with oils to soothe, warm  and massage your muscles. This allows your body to relax and release tension and stress.

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular Therapy is a highly-specialized form of manual therapy that corrects pain and dysfunction by treating trigger points, muscle adhesions, and fascial (connective tissue) patterns.

Myo-Fascial Release

Myofascial Release is  very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. This essential “time element” has to do with the viscous flow and the piezoelectric phenomenon: a low load (gentle pressure) applied slowly will allow a viscoelastic medium (fascia) to elongate.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is a form of bodywork geared toward athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.  Assisted stretching, and PNF stretching.

Cranial Sacral

Cranial Sacral therapy (CST) is a type of bodywork that relieves compression in the bones of the head, sacrum (a triangular bone in the lower back), and spinal column.

CST is noninvasive. It uses gentle, long held pressure on the head, neck, and back to relieve the stress and pain caused by compression. It can, as a result, help to treat a number of conditions.

It’s thought that through the gentle manipulation of the bones in the skull, spine, and pelvis, the flow of cerebrospinal fluid in the central nervous system can be normalized. This removes “blockages” from the normal flow, which enhances the body’s ability to heal.

Reflexology

Reflexology, based on the idea that the glands, organs, and parts of the body are reflected in specific reflex areas on the hands, feet, and ears. Applying pressure to these specific points can reduce pain and anxiety and promote circulation, relaxation, and healing in the body.

Thai Massage

Thai Massage is an ancient energy-based healing system that combines acupressure, reflexology, and assisted yoga postures. Treatment effects are enhanced when the patient is fully relaxed and breathing deeply. This traditional healing practice,  is done with the client wearing loose comfortable clothing.  This table version delivers beautiful and long lasting results.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a form of massage that utilizes the hands, thumbs or other body parts, to apply direct pressure, on various points or channels in the body. It is performed through loose clothing and does not use oils. This is a practice that has been present for thousands of years.

Chi Nei Tsang

Chi Nei Tsang (CNT) is, centuries-old variety of healing touch therapy from China. It focuses on deep, gentle abdominal massage in order to “train” the internal abdominal organs to work more efficiently, which in turn is said to improve physical and emotional health. Assist with physical detox and emotional trauma detox.
